We all have the same aim: to help you to grow professionally
Driver, packaging operator, technician, administrative assistant: whatever your profile, FM Logistic will set up a programme tailored for you to support your development in the company. Every year we make important investments in the development of our staff towards higher roles: each year, more than half of our staffed undertake training.
Moreover, FM Logistic is committed to rewarding the merit and commitment of its employees: in addition to managing their professional development, we strive to offer a share in the fruits of our growth through profit sharing systems. Where possible, we also provide employee savings schemes for investment in Group shares, so that employees can benefit from the value created by our growth.
A single process for successful induction
A successful induction procedure for new employees is a crucial challenge for an international company whose external growth is both organic and highly significant. From day one, each employee has a customized induction plan. New recruits therefore explore the company, its values, its business areas, its industrial plant and the correspondents with whom it works on a daily basis. A few days' training on a platform is routinely provided so that all employees can get to know our operational business. This unique approach is popular with new recruits. It has also contributed to the success of the rapid induction scheme for our Univeg employees, in Russia, which has now became FM Fresh, and McLane in Brazil, which became FM do Brasil in 2013.
Solidarity rooted in our history
High quality human relationships are the key to FM Logistic's success. These values, placing people at the heart of our business, are put into practice daily by our managers who provide close support to consolidate the commitment of every employee. With the introduction of participatory projects, all ideas and initiatives are encouraged to involve all employees in activities and promote continuous improvement. Bringing together women and men who are comfortable working as a team: this requirement has been a feature of FM Logistic since it was established. It is the source of a group philosophy that is reflected in the life of our platforms, which are regularly animated by social events which strengthen the bonds that unite us.
This approach is also expressed in our supportive relationships with the communities around us. In France, for example, teams provide assistance for the French Paraplegic Association (Association des Paralysés) and work for the poorest members of society: clothes donations, collections to support charities, blood donation, charity collection and recycling of bottle caps, etc. In Spain, the Group has launched the "Blue Heart" programme, through which employees can ask FM Logistic for assistance in carrying out a charity or personal project. In Russia, collections of hygiene products and clothes are organized for the benefit of a rehabilitation centre for children and young people. In Brazil, a program called "Light in the Dark" was launched in 2013 to provide a glimmer of hope for disabled or blind children.
